Dr. Merri has a professional connection with Katrina as a patient, of course, but it may be worth discussing the line to Selma as well. She was the referral, and who just carries around a therapist’s card in their pocket to hand out at will? This is- of course- inconclusive, but I can’t always explain why the line is where it is. It is hard to imagine her acting in any manner aside from very sweet and receptive, but this can be attributed to my being limited to seeing her at her most professional.
FINAL THOUGHTS:
Were it my job to prod the headspace of Dr. Merri, I would take great interest in turning over the stones of the anxieties she appears to display in her sessions with patients. But then again- this sort of turnabout may not be fair play.
