Rachel met Trisha through Chuck- at least this is what everyone says. I can’t help but feel like with how welcome Rachel is in that household only being a babysitter for her son for a year and a half suggests a prior history. It is not my place to speculate on this. However, what is not speculatory is how observably hated Trisha is by her soon to be stepdaughter, Claire. As someone who strongly desires some kind of amicable stability in her life with her and her son, you can see how much Trisha wants to push her connection with Claire into a positive place.
